Situated close to the beach and the popular tourist town of Albufeira, the Vidamar Algarve Hotel offers luxury facilities for couples, families and business travellers. Facilities:

Food, drink and entertainment: The hotel offers a choice of restaurants, including a buffet restaurant and Italian, Japanese and Portuguese a la carte restaurants, as well as several bars, including a swim-up pool bar. The new Lobby Bar is already opened! The new facility will support the increase of seating capacity in the Lobby. Guests can relax in the spa area, with a Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room (charged extra) and the hotel offers a choice of three outdoor swimming pools, as well as an indoor pool in the spa area. One of the outdoor pools is heated and is supervised (restricted hours). Children aged from 4-11 years old are kept entertained by the Vidamar Algarve Hotel’s kids club, which operates daily in high season, whilst parents with younger children will find suitable toys and equipment such as sterilisers available in the designated baby corner. A choice of three meeting rooms are available, which offer flexible space for a range of business events and workshops.

Sports, games and activities: 3 outdoor salt water swimming pools, direct access to Salgados beach through a wooden pathway over the dunes, children’s outdoor pool, adults chill-out outdoor pool with underwater lounges and benches, the SPA with indoor heated pool (whirlpool features), Sauna, Steam bath, Jacuzzi, nearby gymnasium, outdoor fitness seasonal classes, extensive palm gardens, recreational areas, Aquatica Kids World for 4 to 11 years, and a seasonal entertainment program for adults & children. Nearby activities include sightseeing, Golf, horse riding and much more!

The access to the indoor heated pool is  available for children and teenagers until 15 years old, in a specific and exclusive daily timetable: 10am-11am (except from the 1st of June until the 30th of September). This pool is not supervised, and therefore all children have to be accompanied by an adult at all times. Free for children, for adults: 10€/1 day. The use of swimming hat is obligatory when using the indoor pool and there is an additional cost when bought at SPA Reception.

Rooms:

The contemporary rooms and suites enjoy views of the beach, resort, pool or golf course. Each is equipped for comfort and relaxation with a furnished balcony, Wi-Fi, LCD TV, minibar and safe.

Spacious double rooms (42m²) offer a comfortable King or two single beds, lounge area with sofa-bed that leads to the balcony with panoramic view. Max occupancy is 2 Adults plus 2 Children (0 – 11yrs)
Deluxe Suites comprise one Double Room (47m2), living room with sofa bed (48m2), and two en-suite bathrooms with walk-in double showers. Each room has panoramic windows that have spectacular full Ocean Views. Max Occupancy is 2 Adults plus 2 Children (0 – 11) or 2 Adults plus 1 Teenager (12 – 16).

The Grand Suite Ocean View combines spaciousness and versatility with connecting rooms of two bedrooms and en-suites, living room and dining room. Located on the 3rd and 4th floors of the Hotel’s central wing, it offers spectacular panoramic views (Cot available upon prior request and taking into account the maximum occupancy). Max Occupancy is 4 Adults plus 2 Children (0 – 11) or 4 Adults plus (1 Teenager).
