Location

Nestled in the foothills of Mount Dikeos, and with exceptional views of the Aegean Sea, Mitsis Family Village boasts an enviable location on the shores of eastern Kos. A 5 minute walk takes you to a Blue Flag-awarded pebble beach, while a short car journey takes you to some of the area’s best attractions including Aquatica Water Park and Palaio Pyli Castle. The airport can be reached in just over 15 minutes.

Facilities

The hotel is home a large saltwater pool and 2 water slides for adults. Surrounding the pool, you’ll find ample sun loungers and parasols, along with a sun deck for tanning. Children also get their own pool with a fun slide and an exciting all-day kids’ club (ages 4-11) featuring organised sports, games, discos and cooking lessons. A junior club for ages 12-16 operates throughout July and August.

The Mitsis Family Village boasts a premium spa circuit, complete with heated indoor pool, hammam and a range of up-to-the-minute treatments. The spa contains a full service hair salon and a beaty parlour offering manicure and pedicure. A holistic wellbeing consultant is available for personalised advice on diet and exercise.

Guests will also find for their convenience a mini market and souvenir shop, free outside parking, complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the property, bike and car rental, babysitting upon request and free shuttle transfer to the nearby beach.

Upgraded room options include the Studio Sea View, featuring an open plan living space, kitchenette and exquisite sea views, and the Superior Maisonette Sharing Pool, with split-level accommodation and direct access to a shared swimming pool.

The hotel offers a varied programme of sports and entertainment for all ages. Guests can practice their backhand on the floodlit tennis courts, take to the water with complimentary kayaks and pedal boats, and challenge each other to games of water polo, boule, beach volleyball and table tennis.

At main restaurant Panoramo you’ll find a premium open buffet, with extended opening times – perfect for an early breakfast or late dinner. The restaurant offers a wide range of freshly prepared dishes, including salads, grilled meats and mouth-watering desserts.
During the day you’ll find a number of tasty options dotted throughout the hotel’s grounds. Zia Snack Bar serves up homemade Greek gyros, burgers and wraps on the beach, Pizza on the Beach rustles up authentic Italian pizza, and the hotel creperie offers self-service gelato and sweet crepes at all hours of the day and night.

Mitsis Family Village boasts a wide range of bars for every taste and occasion. Open from 9 am until midnight, the main bar serves an extensive array of cocktails and coffees in a laid-back setting.
