Who was Manos Holidays?

Manos Holidays was a brand owned by Thomas Cook. The company built a solid reputation over 30 years before being acquired by Airtours in 2000. Airtours was also part of the Thomas Cook Group, which included other well-known brands like Neilson, Club 18-30, Style holidays, Cresta, Direct Holidays, flythomascook, Thomas Cook Tours and Thomas Cook Cruises. Thomas Cook was a member of the Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA) and offered flights and holidays with ATOL financial protection.

What did they do? 

Manos Holidays had a long experience of tailoring packages to the needs of groups, couples and single travellers as well as families. They were particularly good in specialising in relaxing beach breaks. The company had built a strong reputation for quality service, specialist knowledge, good customer care and reliable assessments of hotels and resorts.

Destinations

Manos built their reputation on packages to the Mediterranean. They previously offered a comprehensive choice to Greece, with particular emphasis on islands like Corfu, Crete, Kos and Kefalonia. Manos use to also specialised in holidays to Turkey. Exotic destinations beyond Europe have included African resorts in Gambia and Indian Ocean resorts in Goa and the Maldives. Long-haul destinations use to feature the USA and the Dominican Republic.
