Gouves Holidays

Image

Split into two, you’re well and truly getting the best of both worlds at this Greek resort. The ancient village of Pano Gouves is built into the side of Mount Ederi with its whitewashed churches, while Kato Gouves is situated along the coast and boasts a wealth of cosy tavernas and waterfront bars. Plus, on either side you have the island’s biggest resort, Hersonissos and Crete’s capital Heraklion no longer than 20 minutes away.

It’s the perfect getaway to soak up peaceful Greece in its traditional form and its Blue Flag awarded beach isn’t too shabby either. April through until October are the best months to visit with the temperature rarely dipping below 20ºC.
