Revealed: The New €150m Luxury Resort in Spain with 8 Pools
Having just celebrated the ceremony of the first stone for their range of stylish resorts, Ikos Andalusia will officially open its doors in May 2020. Welcoming everyone from the CEO of Ikos Group to the CEO of Ikos Iberia, alongside local and regional authorities, the event was well-attended.
This lavish All Inclusive hotel will be situated in the resort town of Estepona, in Spain’s Andalusia area, and will offer a premium holiday experience. From seven bars to eight pools and seven restaurants, guests will be spoilt for choice.
Pilar Fernández–Figares, Deputy of Human Resources of the Málaga Provincial Council, believes the resort will do wonders for the area and states: “It will attract other high-end investments and will allow Estepona to make an important leap forward, towards becoming one of the most relevant and important luxury tourist destinations”.
With four hotels already proving popular, in particular the multi-award winning Ikos Oceania and Ikos Olivia in Halkidiki, we’re expecting big things from the highly-anticipated Ikos Andalusia.
Their vision
After a €150 million investment, the company has huge plans for its brand new complex. These include:
- Six a la carte restaurants and one main restaurant
- Seven bars
- Eight pools, indoor and outdoor
- Spread across 17 acres
- Sports facilities
- Ikos spa – Anne Semonin Paris
- Fronted by a beautiful beach
- 411 rooms
An award-winning concept
This hotel takes the idea of All Inclusive stays to a whole new level with its outstanding service and unlimited offerings. This high-end brand is so much more than a holiday, it’s an experience you’ll never forget thanks to its award-winning ‘Infinite Lifestyle’ concept. So much so, it was ranked number one worldwide in TripAdvisor’s luxury All Inclusive category.
Guest staying here can look forward to Michelin-starred cuisine, a spa packed with lavish skincare products by Anne Sémonin Paris and a 300-bottle wine collection.
In addition, this premium experience is all about the finishing touches, with a great deal of the hotel’s offerings included in the price of your stay.
Luis Herault, Chief Executive Officer of Ikos Iberia discussed the hotel’s stand-out features and how they would benefit the local area.
He said: “With Ikos Andalusia, we will contribute to further develop Estepona as a high end destination by offering world class service excellence and individual unique Ikos touches such as the Dine-Out Service,” Allowing guests to try the area’s best local eateries at no extra cost means you won’t feel obliged to dine in the hotel every night – the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in Spain’s culture.
With luxury and relaxation at the forefront of their priorities, guests are guaranteed a stress-free getaway at these one-of-a-kind hotels.
Fancy furnishings
Choose from over 400 rooms, all decorated with stylish interiors and modern amenities. For those seeking over-the-top luxury the Ikos Deluxe Collection has been designed to offer the ultimate VIP experience.
This superior stay also comes with some additional perks such as elite privileges and access to reserved spaces including an exclusive pool and beach areas.
A choice of deluxe facilities
You’ll be able to choose from indoor and outdoor pools, as well as a whole host of activities with an area designed specifically for active holidaymakers. Being so close to the beach also means you can take advantage of the area’s many watersports.
There’s also a spa onsite when you want to de-stress. This peaceful environment will leave guests feeling refreshed with its Anne Sémonin Paris products and list of treatments.
The ultimate food and drinks package
Providing seven different eating experiences, Ikos Andalusia is extremely varied when it comes to its culinary offerings. Its Mediterranean buffet restaurant serves up a choice of food, where guest will be able to enjoy seconds, and even thirds if they’re feeling extra hungry.
Alternatively, its six a la carte restaurants offer the ultimate dining experience with menus designed by Michelin-starred chefs and wines chosen by Ikos’ very own sommelier. Plus, with seven bars serving a mix of drinks, the award-winning Ikos mixologist is always on hand to whip up the finest cocktails. Not forgetting, the fantastic Dine Out programme.
A family focus
Despite being classed as a luxury resort, Ikos Andalusia also has some fantastic facilities for kids from tiny tots to teens. Parents can take advantage of kids’ clubs including Our Crèche, Mini Club and Teen Club, where children as young as four months can enjoy group activities under the supervision of UK-based childcare experts.
The resort will also offer baby equipment, special services and facilities such as splash pools, ensuring families are catered for just as much as anyone else.
Your surroundings
Ikos Andalusia will be situated in Southern Spain, in the Costa Del Sol region and the centre of Andalusia. As the first of its kind in the country, we’re expecting a strong demand, especially if it’s anything like its existing hotels.
Conveniently placed close to the vibrant Marbella and the historic seaside resort Estepona, you’re in a prime location for exploring the sought-after Spanish coast. Overlooking Playa de Guadalmansa Beach, you’re practically touching the sand.
The Ikos brand
Proving extremely successful, this innovative brand is a real contender in the ever-growing All Inclusive market. Already the proud owner of four properties in Greece, which all come with stand-out beachfront locations, it seems Ikos has a promising future ahead of it as it sets its sights on Spain.
Ikos Oceania and Ikos Olivia in Halkidiki have received multiple awards, while their latest additions Ikos Dassia, which opened in Corfu in May and Ikos Aria, which is due to open in Kos in 2019 are bound to see the same success. Offering all the same benefits with their exceptional attention to detail and first-rate hospitality, Ikos resorts pride themselves on their personal touches.
They are also dedicated to sustainable tourism through the use of local produce and teaching children how to care for the environment.
With plans underway to finish its reconstruction during the beginning of March 2020, Ikos Andalusia is hoping to launch a pre-opening period in April 2020, so it can officially greet guests when it is due to open in May 2020.
