Absolutely fabulous – no excuses, this is pure 5-star heaven. Alondra Villas & Suites on Lanzarote have stunning interiors with high end mod-cons. Some have private pools and some have a mini golf green with a bunker for disaster management practice This is luxury accommodation with heaps of space, comfort, gorgeous gardens and all in a beautiful setting. What’s not to like. Puerto del Carmen is a popular resort which offers great dining, plenty of sports and activities and a certain stylish charm. Go for a wander, lots to see and do for a variety of age groups.

Taking a real break, just head into town for international choices and plenty of evening entertainment in the new town area of Centro Atlantico. Head to the beach for water sports and beach sports or just stay home by the pool and Jacuzzi for some private me time. The old town of Puerto del Carmen is a picturesque fishing port – eat, drink and mooch around the charming boutiques.

Take a home grown cocktail out onto the fabulous decking and lounge under the stars. You may have trouble getting the big kids out of the stunning bathrooms.
