The Sumba and its sister property, the Borneo, are located side by side in a quiet area of the popular Cala Millor. The properties have shared facilities and are just yards from one of Mallorca’s finest beaches. The combination of beach life, excellent entertainment and local amenities close by make the Sumba the perfect choice for families. The hotel has three swimming pools – an outdoor adult and children’s pool, surrounded by a large landscaped sun terrace, and an indoor pool which is heated during certain months of the year.

The bright, spacious, air-conditioned buffet restaurant is ideal for informal breakfasts and long, lazy dinners. A barbecue and a snack bar next to the pool allow sunbathers to snack while relaxing, while the lobby bar is open all hours and provides a great setting for a cocktail or two. Children are usually busy at the dedicated children’s entertainment team is on hand to supervise treasure hunts, handcrafts, watersports, competitions and games.

Kids aged 5 to 12 have their club, La Cabana, while older children are kept busy in the Rocodromo – a children’s entertainment area with video games, pool competitions and much more. The Sumba has excellent sports facilities, including a volleyball court, French bowls, table tennis, billiards, archery and rifle shooting, a fitness centre, a jacuzzi and sauna and water polo.
